Our Commitment to Excellence
At Corporación Médica Integral de Oriente, our team is constantly training in hospital and medical topics. We stay up to date with the latest innovations to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Use of Fire Extinguishers
On April 11, 2025, we conducted a comprehensive training session on the proper use of fire extinguishers, aimed at all staff members. The main objective of this activity was to strengthen knowledge in fire prevention, thereby reinforcing safety measures within the medical facility.
The training was delivered by professionals specialized in occupational safety, who provided both theoretical and practical information about the different types of fires, classes of extinguishers, and their correct usage. During the session, controlled drills were carried out, allowing participants to apply what they had learned by practicing the use of fire extinguishers with safe and effective techniques.
Respiratory Therapy Workshop
Our team had the privilege of participating in a comprehensive Respiratory Therapy Workshop. This intensive course, led by experts in the field, was designed to provide participants with a solid understanding of modern techniques and technologies used in the treatment of patients with respiratory conditions.
The workshop was aimed at Vimédica’s resident doctors and nursing staff, and was conducted by Licda. Persy Alvarado. It covered key topics such as Oxygen Therapy, Aerosol Therapy, Postural Drainage, and Secretion Aspiration.
Quality Control and Laboratory Management
In our recent training, we reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to quality and precision in every process within our laboratory. We are dedicated to ensuring that the results we produce are not only accurate and reliable but also worthy of the trust our clients place in us.
Training on Waste Classification
We are committed to proper waste management. Our team receives ongoing training in waste classification to ensure responsible and sustainable handling. During this training, we learn to correctly identify and separate different types of waste, including:
-
Organic waste: food scraps and biodegradable materials.
-
Inorganic waste: plastics, metals, and other non-biodegradable materials.
-
Hazardous waste: chemicals, batteries, and other materials that require special handling.
-
Recyclable waste: paper, glass, aluminum, and other materials that can be recycled.
Proper waste classification not only helps protect the environment, but also improves the efficiency of our processes and reduces costs. Together, we can make a significant difference!
